Mr. Grant began his career in the Financial Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 before working as a Consultant for an international finance and economics consulting firm, as a Manager within the Valuation Practice of Kroll Zolfo Cooper and as a Litigation Services Manager at LonePeak Valuation Group. In addition, he has been an adjunct professor at the Unitiversity of Utah where he taught a graduate level course in business valuation.
Mr. Grant also has "real world" experience. He has worked as an interim CFO during a corporate turnaround, as a Director of Finance at an international aerospace manufacturing company, as a commercial insurance agent and as an independent consultant on a number of business strategy projects.
Mr. Grant has provided expert witness testimony and written expert witness reports in scores of complex litigation matters involving everything from breach of contract, product liability and intellectual property infringement to fraud and valuation. He has testified over 35 times in several state and federal jurisdictions, as well as in international arbitrations. He has also prepared and/or managed well over 200 valuations of publicly and privately held businesses in connection with SFAS 141 and SFAS 142 requirements, gift and estate tax planning, divorce and partnership dissolution, SBA loans and mergers and acquisitions.
