Cardiac,  Vascular and Thoracic Trauma:   During my residency in General Surgery and then fellowship in Cardiac, Thoracic and  Vascular  surgery in Miami my clinical experience included a Level I trauma center.  My practice years at Broward County General Hospital were intimately involved with Trauma in a Level I Center and in Palm Beach County at Delray Medical Center this is also a Level I center in which I have been very active in all of these in addition to usual surgical duty.  All my years of Cardiac Surgery were in hospitals WITHOUT  intensivists thus responsible for Critical Care management of these patients.   Additionally my medical experience has been quite broad not only from a specialist viewpoint but that of a "diverse" physician.  This should allow me to  "read between the lines" and note comments and omissions that are not readily appreciated.     Additionally during the early years (12) I worked part time as an E R physician and made house calls for family practitioners--all very valuable experience.
