     Emeritus Chaired Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at San Diego State University, and Emeritus Adjunct Professor at UC San Diego; past faculty member at MIT, University of Illinois, and Head of the Department at Florida State University.  Also experience of industrial work as Senior Engineer and Manager at Hughes Aircraft Company.  Made significant contributions to the advancement of RF and microwave engineering field.  Researcher and author of over hundred papers, and patent disclosures, patent holder.  Past Editor of two journals and three books, and Past President of an IEEE Society in the field of expertise.  Taught wireless communications and RF engineering courses to graduate students (at the university), and to professional engineers (in industry).
     Able to relate to non-expert juries, and communicate highly technical material at introductory or layman-level in clear, lucid, and yet precise manner.  Received multiple awards for outstanding teaching and exposition.  Served as Distinguished Lecturer and on Speakers' Bureau, and presented numerous invited lectures on every continent.
     Experienced as expert witness in patent litigation and criminal cases, including court appearances before judge, jury, and Appeal Board.  Experience of providing testimony in-person, with depositions, videotaped depositions, and written declarations.  Experience of drafting documents and preparing exhibits and graphics. 
 Investigative work for attorneys, and on patent matters, by assisting in interrogatory phases, depositions, and cross-examination; research on prior art and evaluation of priority claims; reverse engineering and work-arounds.  Knowledgeable about intellectual property matters.
