Description
Dr. Damian is the Founder and Principal of Damian Applied Toxicology, LLC (DAT). He is a Board Certified Toxicologist (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology or DABT) and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT). He has a PhD in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the University of California-Davis, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health (Environmental Chemistry) from the University of Michigan and 35 years of experience in the quantitative evaluation of health risks related to all types of chemicals and exposure circumstances. DAT provides expert-level health risk assessment services related to chemically contaminated property, chemical exposures in the workplace, and chemical exposures from consumer products. Specialty areas include mine and smelter site health and ecological risk assessments, vapor intrusion and indoor air risk assessments related to solvent release, hazardous waste site risk assessments, workers' compensation cases, drug-induced liver toxicity, adverse effects of drugs and nutritional supplements, Proposition 65 compliance evaluations, food and drug safety, and chemical contamination of food and nutritional supplements. Dr. Damian is a member of the American College of Medical Toxicology, the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, the American College of Toxicology, the Society of Toxicology, the International Society of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, the American Association of Clinical Chemistry, the British Toxicology Society, the International Society of Exposure Science and the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology.
