Elizabeth Dumbaugh, CPP, is a premises liability and security consultant and testifying expert for THG Consultants, a firm whose consultants have conducted more than 1400 forensic evaluations of premises located in 46 states as well as in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Columbia, South America and Istanbul, Turkey.  Elizabeth consults regarding security and safety aspects of commercial property management and conducts security audits for various types of commercial premises, including but not limited to: multi-family housing, resorts, hotels, retail and office space, nightclubs, and convenience stores. 

She is board-certified in security management, having earned the prestigious designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International, where she serves on the ASIS Leadership and Management Practices Council providing global security best practices to ASIS members. She is a Crime Prevention Practitioner, a designation awarded by the Florida Attorney General's office. As a vetted member of InfraGard, Elizabeth contributes to a partnership between the FBI and the private sector by providing industry-specific insights. 

Elizabeth's training in physical security began when she attended Army Officer Candidate School and continued when she earned a slot at Naval School, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). She deployed three times to Iraq and Afghanistan during her active duty career including as the commander of an EOD company. Her nine years of service with experience in physical security qualified her for board certification in security management. As a leader in the Army, Elizabeth gained expertise in a variety of ancillary fields including workplace violence, sexual assault prevention, and workplace safety. As a Major, US Army Reserve, she currently serves as the Brigade Logistics Officer responsible for oversight of physical security programs.
