I am the founder and managing principal member of a Certified Public Accounting Firm, Picker & Associates LLC located in Chicago and Buffalo Grove, Illinois and Scottsdale, Arizona. The CPA firm is presently composed of thirty professionals and staff. I possess more than 40 years' extensive experience in complex financial litigation issues, and have been qualified as an expert witness in many cases involving business matters. I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelor's of Science in Commerce. I also received a CPA certificate issued by the University of Illinois. I am also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and, in addition, I have successfully passed Series 7 and 66 FINRA exams. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the AICPA's Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Section. On June 8, 2021 the Peer Review Alliance Committee of the Illinois CPA Society accepted a Peer Review Report of Picker & Associates LLC which was performed by an independent CPA firm of Mayer Hoffman McCann PC. Their report, dated February 19, 2021, rendered an opinion that the system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice of Picker & Associates LLC, in effect for the year ended August 31, 2020, was suitably designed and complied with to provide the firm with reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects. The firm received a peer review rating of pass. The firm of Picker & Associates LLC specializes in serving real estate clients in Chicago land and Nationwide.
