I am a practicing senior PA-C with 15 years of emergency medicine and urgent care experience in tertiary, academic, and community emergency departments and urgent care centers. I am the National Chair of APP Education for one of the largest emergency medicine groups nationally.  I am also the System Director and Lead APP for a large university hospital system in northern Ohio and APP director for one of the largest emergency medicine staffing companies.

I sit on the Clinical Risk Management Committee for this company and have developed several didactic programs regarding risk mitigation for various high-risk EM topics and regularly lecture and moderate emergency medicine conferences and skills workshops. I also co-chair the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Quality Committee at a large University Hospital system and chair the education committee for the same emergency medicine group.

Additionally, I hold clinical adjunct faculty positions at three local universities in Ohio. I routinely educate students and am responsible for the clinical orientation and training of new PAs/NPs regionally as well as remediation and education due to quality concerns.

I am boarded by NCCPA with a CAQ in emergency medicine. 

I have reviewed approximately 25 emergency medicine and urgent care cases over the last 2 years.
