Dinesh John MD, MMM, CPE, CPHQ, CLBB, DTM, FACP is a experienced hospitalist with over 11 years of experience in healthcare leadership and inpatient clinical care. He currently practices hospital medicine in Central New York in a diverse array of settings- federal, state and private hospitals. Dr. John also remains active with teaching in his role as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at SUNY-Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. 

Dr. John previously held the role of System Chief Quality Officer/Assistant Vice-President for Quality at SUNY-Upstate Healthcare System, a large healthcare organization serving over 1 million people in Upstate NY. In this role, he played a major role in analyzing healthcare process and systems, effecting changes that have had a positive impact on the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. Dr. John is also an award-winning reviewer of his peers' work, having reviewed clinical manuscripts for prestigious clinical journals such as the Annals of Internal Medicine and British Medical Journal Open Quality. 

Dr. John has been board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2010, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He received his Master of Medical Management (MMM) degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and is certified as a Lean Black Belt (CLBB) by the Veterans Health Administration. Dr. John is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and was awarded the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) by Toastmasters International.
