Katherine D. Travnicek MD, FIPP is triple board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Brain Injury Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Dr. Travnicek is an expert in the treatment of spine, nerve, musculoskeletal disorders and traumatic brain injuries. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), Society of Injection Specialists (SIS), North American Spine Society (NASS), American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), World Institute of Pain (WIP), and American Society of Pain &amp; Neuroscience (ASPN) as well as serving on boards and in volunteer roles for some of these societies. She completed a PM&amp;R residency at the prestigious The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. After being in private practice for 2 years in Green Bay, Wisconsin she went back into training and completed a Pain Medicine fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic where she served as chief fellow in 2013-2014. She received her undergraduate BA degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL while running on the cross country team. She continues to be avid runner and athlete. Dr. Travnicek has been in active practice in Las Vegas, Nevada focusing on comprehensive and interventional pain management, rehabilitation medicine, traumatic brain injury and non-operative orthopedic care.
