Description
Ron Medzon, M.D. practices Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center, the 8th busiest Emergency Department in the United States. An Associate Professor at Boston University School of Medicine, he directed an elective course at the Boston University's Medical School for 19 years, and has trained hundreds of residents in all aspects of Emergency Medicine. He is a co-editor of a textbook in Emergency Medicine, and has published in the areas of head and neck trauma and airway management. He is the Director of the Solomont Center for Clinical Simulation and Nursing Education. Its focus is on team training to promote communication between various hospital disciplines to prevent medical errors. He has developed and facilitated programs with learners from diverse areas within the hospital, from housekeeping and environmental services to surgical specialists, nursing, and ancillary staff.
