Mr. Sean A. Ahrens is a well-known security/resilience leader who has been providing security consulting for over 22+ years.  He has been instrumental in the assessment/analysis, design, implementation of security programs for a wide array of commercial, hospitality businesses and a myriad of other entities. He is well versed in best practices and has documented thousands of vulnerabilities to organizational assets.

**An accomplished author and lecturer, he is a former founding member of the Commission on Guidelines and standards and has contributed to a number of security guides and standards, inclusive of those that address workplace violence, security officer training and selection, business continuity, facility security controls and risk assessment. His work continues as the Chair of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's committee where he coauthored a security guideline to assist developers and owners in the analysis and selection of security controls for their respective high-rise properties.
