I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and have been in the field of Addiction and Mental Health for approximately 10 years.  Recently, I oversaw approximately 20 treatment centers as the Vice President of Patient Outcomes of a large national Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Company.  My role included compliance, policies and procedures, ensuring positive patient outcomes, and developing and implementing programs to ensure patient safety and ethical practices as well as clinical innovation.  I worked as a clinical director and Vice President overseeing several facilities handling any litigation with in-house counsel and worked on multiple cases during my years at a previous company doing chart and case review, depositions and etc for various legal issues that arose over the many years that I was in clinical leadership.  I am proficient in clinical charting and documentation review, compliance procedures for substance abuse and mental health facilities.  I have written policies and procedures and trained and managed employees on ethics and compliance for appropriate and safe practice.  I currently do consulting work in this area as well as working for a company that measures and monitors outcomes data for multiple substance use and mental health treatment centers around the country.  I am well versed on the compliance and regulatory practices for the SUD and MH industry, particularly in my geographical area (Florida) and have knowledge in many of the states I have worked to include New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, California, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  I have an extremely good understanding of how to effectively run all levels of care of a substance abuse or mental health treatment center from aspects including appropriate record keeping, billing, admissions, clinical, operations and patient care from detox, residential, partial hospitalization to intensive outpatient and outpatient.  I have also designed, developed and implemented medication assisted treatment programs and serve on a non-profit currently that is studying the effects of MAT treatment on individuals.  I have also developed and implemented family programs and worked as a clinician for multiple years and worked with specialized populations including Veterans and first responders and have specific training in Trauma.
