Description
Melanie Rosenblatt, MD, provides comprehensive medical and interventional pain treatment at Pain Management Strategies. She is dedicated to helping every person achieve optimal pain relief by identifying and treating the precise source of their pain. Dr. Rosenblatt graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York, then went on to complete her anesthesia residency and pain training at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York. She's board-certified in anesthesiology, pain management, and addiction medicine. In addition to treating patients at her private practice, Dr. Rosenblatt is the medical director of pain management for Broward Health North, which is a Level II trauma center. She also serves as the chairperson of the Credentials and Qualifications Committee and sits on the Medical Executive Board. Dr. Rosenblatt has worked closely with the DEA and local law enforcement to crack down on pill mills in South Florida. She's on the advisory board of several pharmaceutical companies, where she helps develop abuse-deterrent formulations of opioid medications. She also helps medical professionals prevent opioid addiction in their patients by lecturing nationally about safety and risk assessment in the treatment of chronic pain. Her dedication to preventing and treating addiction is also put into practice through work with legislative congresses in multiple cities, helping them find ways to address prescription pain medication abuse.
