Boarded in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. I have taught medical students , ARNPs and medical residents in hospital and University programs. Worked as Physician Advisor for our hospital system. Obtained a JD from a distance learning program to learn more walking carefully and legally through Medicare rules. Consultant for medical coding and Medicare compliance at several hospitals and a University Hospital. Oversaw an inpatient diabetes management program and oversaw the work of up to 12 ARNPs. Started and managed an outpatient diabetes education and support program. Have volunteered as an endocrinologist in free county and private healthcare services. Chairman of our hospital system CME program. For 10+ years taught the state required course on Hospital Errors. Practiced outpatient and inpatient endocrinology for over 40 years. Have reviewed medical for attorneys and provided my honest opinion for 35+ years.
