Richard T. Picciochi is a retired NYPD Detective and certified forensic document examiner with over thirty five years of experience in the New York City Police Crime Laboratory and in private practice. He has examined thousands of disputed handwriting and suspect document cases, participated in numerous civil and criminal investigations and has testified in high profile international trials.Mr. Picciochi received extensive training from the NYPD, FBI and United States Secret Service. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners (ABFDE.org) and was awarded certification following written, practical and oral testing.Mr. Picciochi possess a background that integrates the natural sciences, applied forensic sciences and law enforcement investigations. He specializes in the forensic examination of disputed signatures and handwriting as well as other disputed document problems. He can provide on-site examinations and is a court qualified expert in over one hundred trails.
