I am a practicing pharmacist, educator, researcher, and have been an invited speaker nationally and internationally in medical education, pharmacy practice and interprofessional collaboration. I am a contributing author to the Quatar Declaration commissioned by the WHO. I serve on the board of the Maine Pharmacy Association and I am a national delegate to the American Pharmacist Association. I have 34 years experience in my field, and hold academic appointments at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine (Family Medicine) and Husson University.

I enjoy teaching in the classroom, the hospital and medical clinic settings where I provide expert drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. I am an active member in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) and have been an invited conference speaker at STFM. I have numerous peer reviewed publications and poster presentations at pharmacy and medical conferences nationally and internationally.

As a Pharmacy Director I successfully completed numerous Joint Commission surveys leading the medication management standards reviews, particularly noteworthy of medication safety. In practice I mentor physicians in appropriate prescribing, side effect avoidance, and interactions. I co-precept medical and pharmacy students interprofessionally in the hospital inpatient setting where we engage the medical team to drive optimum outcomes.
