Mr. Lipshultz maintains his own consulting practice providing litigation support and consulting services. He has served as an expert witness in disputes involving insurance agents and brokers errors and omissions, insurance agent standard of care, claims handling, bad faith, coverage issues and related customs and practices in the insurance industry. Mr. Lipshultz has been an insurance instructor for the CPCU Society, including the District of Columbia Chapter, focusing on the Legal courses beginning in 1992 through 2005. He has been an instructor for the Independent Agents [Big I] of Maryland and the District of Columbia since 1993, teaching courses focusing on Errors and Omissions, and Ethics which continues today. Before retiring from the active practice of law in 1999, Mr. Lipshultz successfully defended hundreds of insurance agents, brokers and agencies in E&O claims.
