For over thirty years, I have practiced obstetrics and gynecology. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the hospital risk management (now "patient safety") committee. I reviewed cases identifying areas where the hospital might have been vulnerable from a medical-legal standpoint. I also participated in root case analyses after medical mistakes were identified. Now, after obtaining training from SEAK, I am using my experience as a legal consultant and expert witness.
