David Wilshaw holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology awarded by the University of London in 1984 and a Master of Science (Engineering) Degree in Foundation Engineering, awarded by the University of Birmingham in 1987. He has almost 40 years of professional experience in engineering geology, geotechnics, geophysics, and geo-environmental assessments gained throughout the UK, Europe, the USA, and the Caribbean.

Mr. Wilshaw is currently professionally engaged in geotechnical investigation and ground-risk management in the residential / commercial construction, transportation, and mining sectors; soil & rock drilling and testing; Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; pre-suit expert opinions for defendants and plaintiffs; expert witness testimony in circuit civil litigation; State of Florida mandated Neutral Evaluation of disputed sinkhole insurance claims; forensic engineering geology.
He is a great communicator and has contributed to several local and national news programs, together with documentaries for The Science Channel and Discovery Channel. He has taught as an Adjunct Professor in Earth Science at Valencia College in Orlando, FL and is a Florida Board of Professional Engineers Licensed Continuing Education Provider.
