I am currently working as a board certified, residency trained, Emergency Physician in a metropolitan trauma center in Northern California. My 15+ years of Emergency Medicine experience also includes several years of working in smaller, rural Emergency Departments. In addition, I also serve as the EMS medical director of a large fire department and provide medical oversight and quality control of over 300 paramedics and EMTs, including a busy helicopter EMS program. Over the last 8+ years I have been asked to provide expert opinions with regard to the standard of care in Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, and Prehospital (EMS) settings.
