Dr. Shapiro graduated from University of Illinois with high honors. At Rush Medical School he was elected to AOA, National Medical Honor Society. He completed General Surgery and Urology training at UCLA then went to USC for advanced work in Urologic Oncology and Pediatric Urology.
He is a Clinical Professor of Urology at USC and a fellow member of the American College of Surgeons. He maintains an active practice in Tarzana, CA and has extensive experience in oncology, female pelvic reconstruction, stone disease and robotic surgery for kidney, prostate and bladder cancer.
