Over the past decade he has served as an expert on dozens of patent litigation cases, handling claim construction, infringement, and invalidity issues. Dr. Alpert has worked as a consulting and testifying expert assisting attorneys representing major high-tech corporations in Federal Court cases, International Trade Commission investigations, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board Inter-Partes reviews. Dr. Alpert also consults to assess patents for acquisition and pre-litigation review.
